Dr. Bruce Coburn was raised in Sweeny, Texas, where health and Chiropractic were a key part of life. His father, Dr. Robert Coburn, has been a Chiropractor since 1976 and continues to serve the West Columbia area for more than 45 years. Growing up in this lifestyle and understanding the benefits gained through Chiropractic, both he and his brother followed in their father’s footsteps.

Dr. Bruce graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas, in 2000 and began working with his father. In 2001 he opened a private family practice in Angleton, Texas, and served the community there for over 20 years before moving to San Antonio. Being a Chiropractor in a smaller community allowed Dr. Bruce to treat all types of patients ranging from newborns to the elderly and everyone in between.

Before Chiropractic college, Dr. Bruce attended Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas, where he majored in Biology/Pre-Med and minored in Vocal Performance. He graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science.

When he is not working, Dr. Bruce enjoys spending time with his wife, three kids, and dogs.

Founder, Dr. Lisa Flora

Our founder, Dr. Flora, was an incredible wife, mom, business owner, and healer. Over 15 years ago, she fell in love with wellness and nutrition. She wanted her body to feel WELL and operate at its best. This led her to study chiropractic care and attend Parker College of Chiropractic.

Dr. Flora and Stacy opened Local Chiropractic Company in 2017, hoping to provide the community of New Braunfels with affordable chiropractic care, love, and health.

Dr. Flora dedicated her life to wellness and providing the best care for her patients.
